Worship Services?
On Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m., we host a traditional service in a liturgical format that includes hymns, praise songs, prayer, scripture readings, a children's moment, special music, the Lord's Supper, and a biblical message relevant to today's culture and lifestyle.
On Thursday evening (every 2nd & 4th Thursday) at 7:00 p.m., we offer a praise and worship service in a more relaxed atmosphere that includes contemporary Christian music led by the praise band, readings, prayer, scripture, video clips, the Lord's Supper, and a devotional relevant to today's culture and lifestyle.
The Lord's Supper?
We celebrate the Lord's Supper at the Sunday and Thursday services. All who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior are welcome at the table.
Childcare and Sunday School?
During morning worship, a nursery is provided for children through the age of 3. We have Sunday School classes for ages 3 through adult. Whether you are new in your faith, are still searching, or are looking to deepen your spiritual walk with Christ, we have a class for you and your family beginning at 11:00 a.m. following morning worship.
What should I wear?
Come as you are -- really! For our Sunday morning service, some people wear their "Sunday best," others come in "business casual" dress, and some come in jeans and casual shirts. You decide what's most comfortable for you. During our Thursday evening praise & worship service, you'll find an even more casual dress style.
Location? Handicap accessible?
We are located at 630 Chess Street (at the corner of Sixth & Chess Streets) in downtown Monongahela, PA. A map link is provided at the bottom of the page.
We are handicap accessible with a ramp at each of the rear doors on both the 6th and 7th Street sides of the building.
We provide a comfortable environment with air-conditioning in the summer and heating in the winter.
